I want to convert to Adobe Arobat 8.0 from 5.0 but not using FDF toolkit to populate templated pdf forms with data? I have an web application that's using 5.0 is there a way to use 8.0 to merge the data on the pdf template?
 
Also, I switch from verions 7 to 8 and backward compatiable too?

Acrobat can not be installed on a server - so using Acrobat to merge data with templates on a server won't work.

Can I use activepdf toolkit to populate a PDF form to merge the database data with any Adobe Acrobat verison?
