Converting a form into excel spreadsheet

I have a form (fill-in and submit by email)created with Abobe design and i want to know how to get the computer to take the information from the form and create a continous excel spreadsheet. I want to control the way the spreadsheet is set up as well. Can someone help?

I think your first step woulb be to convert the InDesign form to a PDF form, then Run Form Field Recognition to make it a fillable form. Have the form filled in then Export the file as a Text file. Problem is that it may not retain the formatting you had in the PDF file.

You can try to send your form to http://www.reportminers.com/
They convert pdf files to Excel and can customize the Excel file for you.
