Creating forms that can be filled out by clients

Hello,
I'm new to Adobe PDF X and am attempting to create a PDF form that I can email to my clients and have them fill out and email back to me. I can create the form with no problem. What I am having a challenge with is creating it so I can email it to my clients and have them fill out the fields I have designated and then have them email the form back to me. What am I missing in my creating the form?
Thanks
Don

Just save the form with Reader-extended rights:

File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional FeaturesThis will allow users with Adobe Reader to save a copy of the form with the filled-in data. Bear in mind the 500-response limit imposed by the Acrobat EULA.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I attempted that, still unable to have client fill out form.
What I am attempting to do is to take the pdf form i created, email it to my clients (right now have 5) and have them fill in the blanks that I have created for information I need.
Example:

First Name*
_________________________________

I want them to be able to type in their name on the line. I have a form that I created and have many fill in the blank lines. How do I save the form and when I send it to my clients, they can fill in the blanks and then send it back to me via email with the lines filled in? Is that possible?
That's where I'm having a challenge.
Thank you
Don

Are you "distributing" the form?

I have adobe acrobat 9 pro. I need to do the following:

1. Create a form (which I've done), make it available to people who might use it at some point, and ensure those people are able to fill in pertinent information and email it in to the appropriate person in my co.
2. Have it emailed to someone else in the co. who handles these requests, which is NOT ME.
3. I do NOT want Adobe to compile information and I do NOT want emails from Adobe every time someone submits a completed form.

Above you say to: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional FeaturesThis will allow users with Adobe Reader to save a copy of the form with the filled-in data. I don't have "Reader Extended PDF" as an option.HOW do I ensure completed forms go to the person responsible and not me? (When I 'distribute' the form, it doesn't allow me to select/enter someone else's email. I know how to place a button on the form and enter her email address, but I still get notifications. I don't want them.)

I have yet to find a help topic that takes you from a to z in creating, distributing and receiving returned forms...and the options within. If I can't accomplish what I want in adobe, where else, what other software can I use?

Thank you.

In Acrobat 9 it's in a different location, namely:
Advanced - Extend Features in Adobe Reader...

When you create a button and set its action to Submit Form, you can enter the email address to which it will be sent, like so:
mailto:name [at] server [dot] com
You can enter any email address you want to that field, or even multiple addresses, separated by a semi-colon.

I'm using AcrobatX standard. I created a form that I need coworkers to be able to save their information in the fields to save the changes on my network. However, my reader extended pdf tab that "enables fill-in forms..." is grayed out. How can I set up a pdf so that it can be filled in and saved?

You need to save it via: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features
