Creating an interactive field in Acrobat Professional 8

Hello!

I'm new to using Acrobat and have spent ages now looking for the tool that enables me to make a field interactive. I have created a document and would like the users of this to be able to write a phone number in a field. They only have access to Adobe Reader and won't get access to the Professional version.

I would be very grateful for help in this!

Have a sweet day,

Kind regards,
Mikaela

Mikaela....assuming that you are using Acrobat 8 Professional; you should select "Advanced" in the top menu bar, then "Enable Usage Rights in Acrobat Reader" If you enable rights; they will be able to enter their phone number in a field. save the file, and more.

You really need to read up more about form creation, using the help files in Acrobat. Don't use LiveCycle for a simple form; stick with Acroforms.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
