Data collection / export

I have a form that collects data in a table on a weekly basis for analysis. When I export the data as csv it throws it all onto one looooong line/row. I really need it in the same format as the user's enter it in.

Is there any way for the form data to be either collected or exported to multiple lines instead of just one? Or is acrobat not the right program for us and is there something else we should look at?

Thanks

One could put it into an SQL database.

I have a similar issue and SQL will not help me. I am using a Trial of Pro 9 Extended.
I have a client with a paper form and a dumbed-down Database software. Presently, his salespeople have to fill in the Sales Agreement and update the database separately. I had hoped to use a PDF version of his form to populate his Sales database directly, but his database will only accept Excel or comma delimited input.

This form would replace his Sales Agreement and as such will be filled with unique customer information and submitted repeatedly. I'd like the form to be as simple to work with as possible since his salespeople are not very computer savvy.

Is there any way to streamline the process so that I don't have to export the data to txt, comma separate the values, and then import it into his database? Perhaps a macro?
