Dealing with small checkboxes without original form

I have a form that was converted to pdf from MS Word. I don't have access to the original form in Word. There are 30 small check boxes that I need to convert to check boxes using Acrobat Pro 9.0. I tried exporting the pdf back into a word format but Adobe didn't convert it and retain any of the formatting. So my question is, how can I use the check box tool to set up the check boxes the same size as the legacy forms checkboxes?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi wislndixie,

while inserting first check box, zoom the form enough to position box.
Then use 'place multiple fields' ...
or put all check boxes, select them and use 'set fields to same size' .
Last selected box will be the reference.
Next zoom and position boxes.

Hope this helps,
