Default file location look-up when importing fdf-data?

When doubleclicking on an attached FDF-file my Acrobat activates and attempts to look up the appropriate PDF doc. However, my file-location differ from the users set-up, thus i am given a dialog to direct the UI to the PDF file-locaton. I have heard that there are som default (right) positions to store the PDFs in order to open without the intermediate dialog. Could you please inform me on those default directories.
Thanks!

Simply put the FDF and the PDF in the same folder/directory.

Yes - thanks, but still I would have to handle the attached file first. The aim is simply to be able to doubleclick the attached fdf.
Thanks - but I still think there must be a way :)

Otherwise you can edit the path embedded in the FDF file with a text editor, as any text file...

Thanks, but I will newer know the path that the user originally had, and which is now included in the attached fdf-file.
The final filename to merge the fdf-data into is still the same, but I need to know if it would be possible to store this 'master' file in an appropriate location in order to merge data just by doubleclicking the attached fdf-file.

I was told, that the PDF bible stated that a file location as: a. the windows directory, b. the Acrobat directory and c. a few more locations would work out fine. However it doesn't seem so.

Best regards
Henrik :)
