We have a simple form that needs to filled out on location, where there may or may not be internet connectivity(wi-fi or phone). We are planning on using tablet devices Android or IPad(I understand Apple may not be an option with fillable pdf).
 
There are some specific requirements that complicate choices:
 
1) The forms needs to signed with an image of the signature or scribble captured, not a digital signature.
2) The pdf created needs to be named with data from one of the fillable fields when submitted or saved.
3) There can be multiple forms completed before an internet connection is available.
 
All these requirements are deal breakers, can all of them be accomplished with either solution? and either device?

Sorry ESGC, the only way your going to be able to do this is with a Windows Tablet and Acrobat on each tablet.

We are using Dell Lattitude XT2 Tablets at work to accomplish this 13" screen.



Forget IPAD & ANDRIOD Tablets for this idea, they are for playing, reading books and surfing the web( Shame Really )Good luck...

You can download the Adobe Reader for Android and it supports all the same features as Adobe Reader on the Desktop. The Stamp tool will let you sign a form with a PDF image of a signature. JavaScript can help you control the form name when you submit the form (you will need to save the form as a Reader Extended PDF). As far as multiple forms completed before an internet connection is available. The user can save the form data, then once all forms are filled out, do the submit.

iPad will not work for all the above features, because Apple uses it's own PDF viewer.
