I recently upgraded from Reader 7.0 to 9.2 and now I find that certain pdf documents that opened fine in 7.0 cause the 9.2 reader to crash (stop responding). I find this to be the case in XP, 32 bit Vista, and 64 bit Vista. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Since Acrobat 6 Adobe has been getting more strict with the PDF specification. There are a lot of 3rd party PDF creation tools that do not properly implement the format. In the past Acrobat has been very fogiving, and not it's not. Although crashing is a rather poor response. So, its also likely that these document might have exposed a bug in Acrobat. Regardless, without knowing anything about the problem documents it's impossible to know what your issue is.
