Duplicating buttons

I'm creating a multiple page form with the same buttons on each page.
When I copy and paste the buttons the actions don't seem to copy.
Is there a way of duplicating the buttons without having to reset the actions each time?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Macintosh

What sort of actions do they use?

There is a way to duplicate fields to other pages. For example, with Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows you can right click on a field while in form editing mode and select "Duplicate" from the context menu that appears. There's something similar for version 8, but I can't tell you exactly what it is at the moment.

Cheers George,
The duplicate function does duplicate the field but not any of the Java code or actions in the button properties!
Button 1 : Java
Button 2 : Java
Button 3 : Weblink
Button 4 : Save As
Button 5 : Print

There are 5 pages and the buttons appear twice on each page. So that's 50 buttons!! And there are 2 forms, sigh!
I can just re-set the actions each time but it takes ages.
I'm sure there must be a way to duplicating them without resetting them.

I think something must be amiss with your document or installation: When I Duplicate buttons, menu actions and javascripts are also duplicated. (v 8.1.2). Same goes for Copy & Paste.Have you tried the function on a simple pdf document (as opposed to a form.... is it definitely an Acrobat form, not Designer?)

Good point, tried it on a simple pdf and it worked.
The previous form is done now. Must bear it in mind for next time.
Thanks a million
