I'd really like to be able to open a pdf and then be able to add to it. For example, I open a job application in pdf form, I want to be able to type the information instead of printing it out and filling it out by hand.

I have acrobat elements 6.0 and adobe reader 7.0.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6.0.0, Windows

Hi krzykwam,

The features for adding fillable form field elements to a PDF or being able to type on a PDF document are not included with Acrboat Elements or the free Adobe Reader. To do those things you need Acrobat Professional. You may find this product matrix showing the differences in the Acrobat family of products helpful-

Hope that helps,
