Editing form text

Hi,

I am looking at Acrobat 8's form capabilty as an solution to our online form needs. We have a number of forms that would benefit from this but their content is relatively dynamic and they are quite long.

I experimented earlier with the notion of converting one of our regular PDF files into a form but almost immediately hit a snag relating to the static nature of the PDF.

What would happen if after I have spent hours converting a 14 page PDF into a form, someone then came along and said they didnt want a particular question in there or wanted to add a question. PDF's are not all that editable to the best of my knowledge and i'd hate to have to return to the source file for the edit and then have to remake the entire form.

How do I overcome this?

thx

One can always replace pages in a form and not lose the form fields and the document's JavaScripts. This solution might require the removal, moving, or addition of fields.

thanks for your response. other than replace individual pages which edited pages tho which could potentially ruin the flow if the edits are extensive, is there no other way to retain the field info?
