I currently have AR 7.0 standard. I have a pdf file where I would like to fill in certain fields with information. What options do are available to enable the fields to be filled in? I tried "save as" it to a word document but the form is not aligned with the original form due to the font, margin, etc.

Acrobat 7.0 Standard does not allow the creation of form fields. You need to upgrade to Acrobat Pro to create fillable form fields. Also make sure you are using a safe font & your form is properly tagged in Word before converting to PDF. You can use the Form Field Recognition option in Acrobat 8.0 Pro to set up your form fields.

Yes, 9 allows that. If you are just trying to fill out this form for yourself (not trying to make it fillable for others), you may want to just use the typewriter tool.
