eliminating instructions message

I made a form in acrobat 8. When opened in reader, a message opens telling the user to use the typewriter tool to fill out the form. I do not want a user to see this message and/or use the typewriter tool to fill out the form.

Does anyone know how I can eliminate this message?

This is a preference that can be turned on/off. Edit --> Preferences --> Forms panel select "Always hide document message bar".
