I've created a PDF form in Acrobat Pro 9 and included a "Submit by Email" button to have the complete PDF form and data be returned. When I test it out and click on the button, an error message pops up, "Operation is not permitted." Help!

You have to Reader-enable the form in Acrobat if you want to send the entire PDF in Reader: Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader

When I go back into the document in Acrobat, and pull down, Advanced>Extend Features in Adobe Reader is disabled?

What are the security settings for the PDF?

Where is the PDF located?

You need Adobe Acrobat 8 or better to enable the extended rights.

You may also need to create a application folder for the privileged script to perform the save and e-mail functions.

No security settings established. PDF is currently on my desktop. Using Acrobat Pro 9 - I opened the form again and realized that I was in design mode and that's why it was disabled. I see it now - thank you!
