We have an web employment application that uses Reader. The submit button shoots the data to an email. On version Adobe Reader 7, the data merges with the form when opening the email, but we upgraded to Reader 8 and now the data does not populate the form when opening the application form. We use Lotus Notes, and if we select view, the data is there in the raw form. But if we open then Adobe Reader 8 pops up with the form but no data. Can anyone help me???

That's an odd one. If it opens the file it should have merged in the data. Sounds like a job for Acrobat Support.

Do you have the form already loaded into Reader? If you do, then it should definately load into the form.

Acrobat identifies the PDF file associated with data by two pieces of data in the data file. The form's path and it's ID. If niether of these is present then Acrobat may not be identifying the form correctly.
