I want to ensure I am properly embedding fonts in new pdf and prn files printed from my word processor. Can someone please tell me if there is anything more I should do other than the following in my print dialog box and the sub-dialog boxes for Adobe PDF Settings:

In the "Edit" Adobe "Standard Settings" sub-dialog box:

1. Checked "Embed all fonts" and "Subset embedded fonts when percent of charactes used is less than 100%"

2. Added the fonts I want to the "Always Embed" box from the font source box.

In the primary Adobe PDF Settings dialog box

3. Deselect "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" and select "Add document information"

In the Print to Adobe PDF dialog box,

4. Check the "Print to file" box for .prn files.

you can check the fonts embedded by opening the pdf in acrobat and then file>properties, click on the fonts tab and check the list of fonts that are embedded within the document.
