I am still in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and I have been asked a question I can't answer. Can the data being saved into the fields of an Adobe 8.0 PDF be extracted in Adobe 7.0 version?
Yes, in fact it could be exported by Acrobat 3. There has been no change in how fields are represented internally in an AcroForm PDF since form fields were added to PDF in Acrobat 3.05. This is even true to a large extent for LiveCycle forms.
