Hi Katjays--

You can add form fields to an existing form in Acrobat Professional. Use the Forms tools to draw the fields and configure in the fields' Properties dialog.

If you are working in Acrobat 8 Professional, use either the Forms tools or use the new Form Field Recognition process (available in Windows only).

If you don't need the form to be interactive, users can work with the Typewriter tool to type text responses for fields.
