Fillable forms

I had Windows 2000 and Adobe Acrobat 5.0.5. I created fillable forms and sent them out to my customers to fill in the blanks. No Problem with that. They filled out the forms, emailed them back, I opened them and could view everything without any problems. Now I have Windows XP and Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0.5 and when I open one of the forms I described above, the fillable fields are all blank. Is there something I have to do or change in order to be able to see what is in these blank fields?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.5, Windows

Hi dhbiker56,

This sounds like some type of font embedding issue. Acrobat 7 maybe not displaying the fonts because they were not suppose to be embedded according to the license restrictions, which could cause the field to appear blank.

Make sure you are using an unrestricted font for your form fields. You can use the PDF Optimizer to check exactly which fonts are/are not embedded.

Hope this helps,
Lori
