Fillable forms distributed to the iphone... is it possible?

I haven't had any luck (yet) getting the iphone to be useful for entering data into a pdf form displayed on the phone. Have others found a solution to that scenario?

(Almost needless to say, it'll be VERY interesting to see how Apple's new tablet/slate/whatever machine, to be unveiled in a couple days, deals with filling out forms. Almost intuitively, that would seem to be a great platform on which to enter data into forms... in healthcare, in warehouses, census enumerators, etc etc.)

Many portable phones and PDA do not support forms and the JavaScript engine needed to make the forms work.

I just discovered PDF Expert App, and it seems to work with static form only. (Opening a dynamic form will produce an error message)

I have tested the app with simple text fields, and it seems to work.

Image field refuses to do anything. I was hoping to capture image from the built in camera to insert into the image field of choice. It does not look like this is ready yet.

I am not able to send back filled form direct to responses file. I am able to send the PDF back as an e-mail attachment. Double-clicking the PDF attachment in the inbox will make the data to show up in the responses list.

It would be great to be able to send back filled PDF straight from iphone to responses file. I wonder if anyone has found a way to accomplish this (?)
