I created a form at one point out of an existing pdf on Acrobat 8 for PC but messed up a few of the fields. So I tried to fix it on a Mac at work. Lacking a method of editing the existing fields, I tried starting from the original non-form pdf. The resulting pdf now causes preview to crash whenever I try and use it to open the file. Also, any browser not using the acrobat reader plugin will crash upon attempting to view the file. Has anyone come across this problem and if so, is there a good workaround besides teling users they can only open the file with acrobat reader?
Do you have the browser plug-in for PDF installed?
