Is there a way to change a fillable pdf form back to "unfillable" once all the fields have been entered? My client wants a pricelist in pdf format, but with the option of filling in the pricing himself. He then sends the pdf to his customer, so he doesn't want it to be editable anymore.
Please help!!!!

If your client has Acrobat Standard or better, you can add a menu item, tool bar button, or add a button to the form that can run a JavaScirpt to "flatten" the form. This can not be done using Reader.

Hi dillibar64,

Yes, but it will require him to do one step after filling out the form and then he would have to Save-As and name the file something else so he doesn't overwrite his original fillable form. To do this, he needs to "flatten" the PDF pages. Flattening bascially bakes the fillable fields into the page so that they are no longer active.

There is a Free tool that does this at pdfscripting.com you may find helpful.-

Scroll down to the Flatten Pages Content Tool

Hope this helps,
