I am having a user have trouble with Adobe reader fonts. The error is "Cannot find or create the font Times-Roma.idc. Some characters may not display correctly. I looked to make sure all of the fonts were installed, I tried repair of Acrobat. It just shows up as bullets. Even the math conversions he is trying to read. Thank you for helping!
The font on the users' system could be corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the font to see if that fixes it. You don't say if the font is embedded in the PDF or not- if not, try embedding it and see if that makes a difference for the user having the problem.
