I have a form that consists of several document files. There are a lot of duplicate fields on the different documents. Can I do something that will cause the duplicate fields to auto-populate based on the information filled in on original or first field filled in. I am a novice at creating forms so I would really appreciate any help available.

Download the Adobe Acrobat SDK. Go to the titled topic "Developing Acrobat Applications Using Javascript". Look at page 155, Example 10.1 "Gathering personal data using templates". Modify the Javascript to meet your objective.

David: I am pretty avid at forms. What you want to do is very simple. If your form is multiple pages and uses some of the same information, you simply create a text box using the same name as one on a previous page or copy it and paste it from one page to the next. If you have any questions regarding this please feel free to call me. Kim Mynatt (865-380-3000 x 5680)
