Form to fill and paste on top of pdf files

Dear all, I'm new to Acrobat and maybe the solution for my problem is simple but I haven't managed to find it:

I've created a form, which basically says 'N° ___' where I can fill in the number

I need N° ___ to appear on all the .pdf files I have in a certain directory: how do I copy and paste, and then fill, the 'N° ___' section?

also, I need the 'N° ____' section to have a transparent background

basically I need to stamp this form on .pdf files in order to avoid printing the .pdf files, stamp them and re-scan them...

I hope that was clear
thanks in advance
Giovanni

thanks a lot for the help - however I need a little bit more, if possible :)

I've tried creating a form and saved it as a .pdf file; but
- to use copy and paste I need to first open the file in form edit mode as it doesn't let me do it directly on the .pdf file
- after I've pasted it, I need to go in form edit mode to move the controls around
- I then need to go back in normal view to fill in the fields

do you know if there's any shortcuts in this process?
also, I've had a look at batch processing but I haven't seen the option to add a field, how do I do that?

thanks again!
Giovanni
