Hello everyone,
I am relatively new to Acrobat and like most newbies, need some help.
I am creating a self assessment form which assesses an individual's skill levels when it comes to using computers. Each question contains three options valued at 1, 2 or 3 (how original am I ;o) and at the end of each section I am calculating the average score from the value of the questions answered with a view to determining what level of study they should consider if they want to fill the gaps in their skills profile. (e.g study level, you guessed it, 1,2 or 3)
I can calculate the average fine, however if possible I would like to be able to manipulate what text is visible on the results page depending on the average score (does that make sense?)
In essence it boils down to something like this;
If the average score of section A = 1.3 or lower then display Level 1 text
If the average score of section A = 2.3 or lower then display Level 2 text, and so on and so on.
Is this possible?
Yes, that is certainly possible. You need to write an "if" statement script. Here is a tutorial from the Learning Center here to get you started-
Conditional ExecutionSince you are new to Acrobat forms, you will find many helpful tutorials, on demand e-seminars and articles in the Learning Center that will answer many of your questions and give you a good jump start.
Hope this helps,
Dimitri
