I am creating a pdf for clients to enter their info at a convention at a convention. I need the pdf to collect all the form data from each user, save the file to the hard drive with the file name of the FDF file to be gathered from their "name" they entered in the form. I can not figure out how to do this.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0999999999999996447286321199499070644378662109375, Macintosh

If the users are on Reader 8, then you have a problem. The "exportAsFDF()" function no longer works in this version of reader, although the Reference states that it should work with Save Rights Reader enabling, and run from a privileged context, it does not.

It does work when run from a privileged context in Acrobat Pro. I also suspect it will work in Acrobat Standard. But Reader is out.
