Form submission and Unix

I've distributed a form using Acrobat 9 to a group of individuals outside my company. Most people aren't having any trouble with the form, but one person who is using UNIX stated that they were unable to submit the form. They tried to fill things out, then save it but couldn't. Then when they tried to hit the submit button, the system would not respond. Is there anything I could do to prevent this? I don't think I have a lot of UNIX users in the group, but there is always that possibility, and I'd like to have a fix. I would assume that they were only using reader and I'm not sure what version. I thought that when a form was distributed with Acrobat, that the extensions to save it when with the file, and even Reader users were able to save form data.

My Product Information:
Reader 9.0, Unix/Linux

You really need to check to see if they're using Adobe Reader, and if so, what version. They could be using some other PDF viewer.

FWIW, the newest Linux Reader version is 8.1.3 (if I remember correctly). In any case, it is not a 9 version.
