Can anyone help with this. I've created a form in acrobat 8 and need to add a submit button so people throughout the company can email the completed form back to me. Most people in the company are using early versions of Reader so ideally would need to be able to submit from these earlier versions. Just wondering if anyone could help with javascript to add to the submit button.
Many Thanks

John....I think that you need to get your users to upgrade at least to Reader 7 to make that work. Then, it should work with the form you've created in 8 if you've done the following:

1. Create a button
2. Under "Actions" for the button, select Submit a form.
3. Then, enter a URL for the link, for instance "mailto: yourcompany [dot] com"]youremailaddress [at] yourcompany [dot] com"
4. Decide how you want the form submitted...the entire PDF (last choice on the panel) is probably best.

Hope that helps...Try it out!!

P.S. Explore all of the choices for button properties to get familiar with it all.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
