Forms with consistent font/type

How can I make a form's default to include a particular font/size. Everytime I create a form from a PDF, it is set to "auto" and some text boxes and check boxes are huge print, while others are small. Is there a way to consistently have it set at a particular font and size of font?

When you create a field, set it to use the font and font size you want. While in forms editing mode (or with the Select Object tool active), right-click on the field and select: Use Current Properties as New Defaults

The location where you see the "Auto" option is a drop down box from which you can select a specific font point size and if the pint size you want is not displayed, you can type in your own point size value.

By the way, if you're creating your fields by using the Form Wizard, it will not use the defaults that you set with the method I mentioned earlier and you don't have control over what it chooses. It seems to use a font size of Auto for everything.

Thanks everyone. I noticed that the defaults don't stay each time. Kind of a bummer. Maybe in future updates, it could be fixed.

The default properties should be remembered and used for any fields that you subsequently create, even after closing and reopening Acrobat. Are you seeing something different? If so, what version of Acrobat are you using?
