Forms fields question

I am VERY new to this so please be patient. I scanned in a form that I want to be able to add fill in filed to and post on our web site. and the program (Abobe Acrobat 8 Professional) I added the text fields manually and the program also did its own form filed recognition. When I preview the form it shows all the boxes I have manually placed but it soes not show the boxes the program placed.

I would like to NOT see the boxes I created, Just to be able to fill out the form with the boxes I created (AM I Making this clear?)

How do I do this??

Did the "form field recognition" add any form fields?

Usually this is done based on text, and unless you OCRed the scanned form there will be no text just an image of text.

Yes the "form field recognition " did add form filed and in the preview mode those boxes do not show up, (which is what I want for all the boxes)just my boxes show up that I placed manually
