Forms: Recipients get varied error messages when submitting

Where do I start troubleshooting? - see last paragraph

I created a form with Acrobat 9, enabled usage rights, and distributed it through the Distribution and Tracking Wizard (selected “Automatically collect responses on my own internal server”). Told the 42 recipients to be sure they were using Reader 9 to read and submit the doc.

Six recipients got this message:
The data collection workflow has ended and data is no longer being accepted. Please contact the initiator with any questions.

Three recipients got this message:
Acrobat could not submit your data. Please see Tracker for more information.

Two recipients got this message:
This completed form is returned to you through email because the recipient does not have Acrobat 9 or Acrobat Reader 9 (or later version) This is not the case!

One recipient got a message saying that the initiator's box was full and another recipient got a message saying “Could not access the network resource”

Curiously, the two recipients that submitted their response with Reader 8 came through fine.

One variable that may have an effect is that the network folder where the responses were going was restricted to only three people (whose responses went through). Since then, we have taken off the restriction. But the recipients still cannot submit their responses.

Thanks
Leah

What type of error message do the recipients receive now that the permissions issue has been corrected?

Thanks, Lori for your reply. Now I'm not sure the permission issue has been corrected.

Recipients are still getting one of two error messages:

"The data collection workflow has ended and data is no longer being accepted.
Please contact the initiator with any questions."

and

"Acrobat could not submit your data. Please see Tracker for more information." When the recipient goes to the next step with this response, it says "Could not access the network resource”.

My suspicion, which I don't know that much about, is that our IT person didn't give adequate permission (check or uncheck the appropriate boxes) and/or the recipient needs to reboot their computer for the permission change to take effect.

I looked at [Folder] Properties >> Advanced Security Settings for [Folder]>>Permission Entry for [Folder] and these areas were marked as Allowed:
Traverse Folder/Execute File
List Folder/Read Data
Read Attributes
Read Extended Attributes
Read Permissions.

The Object Name is Domain Users (Our_Company0\Domain Users). This is a shared folder on the network.

Can you tell me which actions need to be included or deleted as far as the permission for the folder where the doc_responses.pdf files go to?

Many thanks (for the opportunity to save face!)

It was a problem with the response folder permissions. We gave Full Control and now the recipients are able to submit their responses.

I'm having the same problem but it has not been resolved.

I made a form in Adobe Acrobat 9 pro, distributed it using Acrobat.com to users with Reader 9, and some users report that sometimes the form submits successfully, and sometimes they receive the error saying:

"The data collection workflow has ended and data is no longer being accepted.
Please contact the initiator with any questions."

Any help greatly appreciated.

If you click on Acrobat.com under Server Status in Tracker (Forms > Track Forms) can you find any other error information?
