Help with check boxes

I have a scanned form that has small check boxes already on the form. I ran form typer and it did not pick up the check boxes so I am having to manually insert check boxes. Can someone tell me the following:
1. How can you manually resize check boxes without using the handles? Sometimes my boxes are too small to use the handles and accurately resize. Is there a way to set the size using dimensions?
2. How can you magnify the check box you're working on so you can get an exact placement on the form?
3. Is there a faster way to move a check box. For instance, I used copy and paste for a check box and it pasted the new box in the middle of the form. The box was too small to get my arrow and use my mouse to move so I had to use the up and down arrows on my keyboard to move the box and it was so slow..

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank You,
Mike

The form field recognition tool has a very hard time identifying check boxes. You almost always have to place them by hand.

The only way to resize check boxes (or any field for that matter) is to either use the handles to do it manually or by using the "Size" tool on the Right Click menu to size the field to another field.

Zoom in or out with either the Zoom tools, or "Ctrl +"/"Ctrl -".

If your check boxes are too small to grab with the mouse, then you are not zoomed in enough.

If you press down Shift when using the keyboard arrows, the boxes will jump in larger intervals than when using just the arrows on their own.
