Hello

I want to know is there a way available to set the MARGIN of the text box.

What I mean exactly that if you put a TEXT BOX, DROPDOWN, etc on a acrobat form, you can see that TEXT do not start right from the beginning of the text box, but it starts after a tiny space.

Is there a way we can change that Margin / Padding ? (space between the BORDER of the box and the text)

Please help !

Hello Zeeshan,

Yes, there is a way to do this. Follow the steps below:

1) Select the field you want to adjust
2) Open the PARAGRAPH panel (WINDOW > PARAGRAPH)
3) Look for the tiny triangular 'flyout' button near the top and click it - select EDIT VALUE
4) In the Left Indent field below, enter the amount of space you want to have between the text and text box field.

Hope this helps!

Oh sorry - I was on autopilot. I was using Livecycle Designer ES 8.2.1 which comes bundled with Acrobat Pro for the PC. If you have Acrobat Pro or Pro Extended, you should be able to find Livecycle Designer somewhere (I'm using version 9 of Acrobat, but I know it was also bundled with version 8 as well). I don't think it's possible to do it directly within Acrobat Pro, unfortunately.
