How Can I calculate percentage of Sum?

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and I made a invoice that calculates the sum of all total amount fields. I'm stuck on how to calculate a percentage for inputed tax rate of total amount.

I want to multiply percentage of sum. Example Sum of $500.00 x 0.0875% = $43.75

How can I implement this in Acrobat?

Create a form field with the format of "Percentage', set the decimal places to "2", set the optional value to "0.000875" make the form field "Read Only". You can now use this form field in a calculation.

Are you sure your sales tax rate is 0.0875% and not 8.75% or a decimal rate of "0.0875"?
