How can I populate a time field with the current time?

Hello all,

I am very new to Acrobat and am trying to teach myself how to create editable forms. I have created a form with a few simple fields, but I can't seem to get the time field correct. I have created a table and I would like to have the current time be entered into the time field as an end user enters information along the table row...hope that makes sense. I was thinking it could be entered by a mouse click or by some other mechanism. The form is essentially a tracking sheet for some hospital equipment. I have been searching the forums for answers before posting but haven't found anything yet. Can anyone help me. Thank you much in advance. - Karl

Have you looked at Thom Parker's tutorials about date and time on this site?

Hi George,

I haven't seen any of Thom's tutorials. Is there any particular tutorial I should concentrate on? Is there a "beginners" section or good starting point to really start learning Acrobat or would I be better off buying a book and trying that route?

Thank you, I appreciate your time and consideration,
