How to create a calender on a form using Acrobat and not LiveCycle

Does anyone know of a free, simple way to create a pop up calendar on a PDF form using the Acrobat Pro form toolbar and not LiveCycle? We use PDF forms in a way that involves importing and exporting FDF data and when we create a form in LiveCycle we loose the ability to work with FDF data but would still like the calendar feature LiveCycle has.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.1, Windows

Hi bgospavic,

At one time there was free code for a popup calendar posted in the Planetpdf forums but it is probably so old (several years now) that it may not be in the archives anymore. Try a search there to see if you can find it.
There is a popup calendar for sale called EZDate Picker that is an improvement over the older code. Another even more improved one is at www.pdfscripting.com but is only available to paid members of the site.

You can create a popup calendar using JavaScript yourself with the only cost being your time. But, it is many hours of work which is why it's not easy to find a good one for free.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
