How do you create a PDF from scratch in Adobe Acrobat X Pro? Im sure Adobe Professional 8.0 had a option to create Forms from scratch.
And another isssue I have got is while trying to create a PDF form from an Excel file, its throwing an error. The error says "Missing PDF maker files",Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?

Any help or advice from some will be appreciated.Am I getting this restrictions and errors due to the fact that I have got a trial version?

While it's just about possible to start with a blank page and draw in form fields, that's not how Acrobat is designed to work. You are supposed to lay out your form in something else (Word, InDesign etc.), convert to PDF then use Acrobat to add the interactivity which your authoring software cannot.

As to Excel, which version of Office are you using, and have you applied the 10.1 update?

I have got a really old copy of Office, the 2002 version and I dont think Adobe Acrobat Pro is compatible with Office 2002. I got it to work anyway by printing the Excel file to a PDF writer, which gave me a PDF file. Then I converted the PDF file in to a form.
