We had someone create a PDF form for us and asked them if there is a way to edit the Forms Message Bar. She said no; however, there are several versions of the document with different text in the bar, so I'm a bit suspicious. Anyway, need help. Thanks

Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

It isn't possible to edit the Forms Message Bar. Differences in the text is probably due to variations in the versions of Acrobat and/or Reader that you're using.

Has there been any change in the ability to edit the Forms Message Bar since this was last posted? Can I opt to not have the message bar if so? It is causing a lot of problems for my cleint.

Why sit around and bemoan your fate? Go ahead and get in there, and while you're at it, enjoy every moment you're alive.

No, and no. The DMB is used to display security and usability messages to the user - *they* can choose to turn it off via their preferences but you cannot, and I doubt that will ever change.
