How to input a "wet signature" on a pdf using a 7 tablet

I have a Windows 7 pro tablet (with a stylist). I'm trying to create a PDF form that will allow the user to sign a field using their personal handwriting. I have Acrobat 10 Pro installed. The user must have the impression that they are signing an actual piece of paper. This is easily accomplished in Windows Paint. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks you,
Armando

Armando,

Digital Signatures in PDF forms do not function that way. They use a password to add time & date stamp as well as sign fields. You can apply a scan of a signature to a digital signature field, but you can not sign live and have that be the approval of the form. There may be some 3rd party products that offer this feature, but Acrobat Forms does not.

Thank you,
I was following the directions for adding a custome stamp. However, I can't the stamp to drag over. I know the PDF must be a form, but what would be the feild type to where the image drags to?

Thanks you,

You can stamp a facsimile of the signature to any PDF that accepts comments or annotations because a stamp is an annotation.

Signatures for PDF files imply the use of a password password protected digital certificate. The standards for this certificate comply with most of the electronic commerce requirements by states and countries. The certificate can be used to authenticate the PDF has not been changed since that signature was applied. One can customize the image used with the image displayed on the signature form field. See 'Create the signature appearance" in Acrobat's Help.

Ok here is how you do what your asking. (able to help someone so quickly!!!) Fantastic..

(The experts are bogged down on Digital stamp signatures)

Acrobat Reader 10 as long as PDF is enabled.
Goto Tools
select Sign & Certify
select Apply Ink Signature.

Then use your stylus to sign where you need to.....

You must keep the stylus down for the whole signature. Make a mistake just click on the signature and delete.and reselect apply ink signature again....

I use this method on a WIN 7 Tablet PC for people to sign PDF's at the door..

Took me a while to find this out......

Enjoy..................

This is great! I was able to get it done by downloading a free 3rd party annotation app. But I would rather not use additonal apps, if I don't have to. By default the ink is in red, is there anyway to change the color?

Thanks you,
Armando

Nevermind, I just figured it out:
On a pdf use the "Apply Ink Signature" and sign (or scribble).
Then open the property of your ink signature.
Select the color you want then check off the "Make Properties Default".

Hope this is helpful to all.
Thanks to all for your help.

Thanks you,
