Hyperlinks and Adobe Acrobat PDFMaler

I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard installed on my computer. This means of that both the Acrobat PDFMaker toolbar and Adobe PDF-menu are installed in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher. But there is one important difference between these two: If I provide a picture in Word with a hyperlink it is there even when the document is converted to Adobe PDF. The same is not done in the conversion from Publisher. I have compared the conversion settings in both programs but can not find any differences.

This problem is causing me a lot of extra work so I'm grateful for an early description of how I shall solve it.
