Hi,

I'll like to know if it's possible to autoincrement a text field in the PDF each time the pdf file is open.

Thx,

Yes, it's possible.

Will the text field only ever contain a number, as opposed to some text and a number (e.g., "Invoice number: 1234")? What is the purpose of this field?

Was the field created with Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer?

Lots of issues:

Using global and subscribed variable:

It 's the number or an invoice, so I test the solution with global and subscribed variable but I'll like a variable on a file on a shared folder.
I think I need to use a database.
