Re Ted's Tips, Setting Initial Views. How can I set Properties a'la Ted's #31? My Forms Initial Views are Grayed-out.

Check the document security setting. File, Preference, Security.

See if there are any security restrictions for the form.

Also go through your preference settings to see if a setting is causing the problem. Click Edit, Preferences.

I believe that is File>PROPERTIES>Security.
NTL, Security Method is set to No Security.
Could it be that the Application is noted as Acrobat PDFMaker x.x.x for Word?

Did you create your form in LiveCycle Designer? If so, then you cannot change the initial view setting in Acrobat. LiveCycle forms cannot be edited in Acrobat.
However, you can use Javascipt to set the initial view in LiveCycle. Check out the following post for more detail:
