List-box background color

How do I remove the default list-box color from printing? It seems like a waste of toner, and esthetically unpleasing, to have that field print in gray with white text when everything else is black text on a white background.

Are you wanting to have one color for the List Box when shown on screen and another color when the file is printed? If so you need to write a JavaScript where the print action is invoked on a button. There isn't a way to control changing List Box colors in the Print dialog box.

If the screen display and the printed document can have the same color for the List Box, open the List Box Properties and click the Appearance tab. Click the Fill Color swatch and choose None.

Try using a combo box instead. It doesn't print out gray.
