Question. Can somebody make simple changes using an embbeded font via standard acrobat.
My client is a non profit org. If I creat a "certificate of completion" they would like various people to be able to type in different names and print it.
Problem. No budget to buy & purchase the fonts nor acrobat profession for all the different departments wanting to edit the name text and course type.
Is there a solution with form field/embedded fonts? I do not know of a work around.
cheers
Your solution should probably work. You can embed a font in any PDF file as long as it isn't restricted. I am sure you can find a font that will provide the right appearance.
To work in the file, draw a form field using the Text Field tool in the location where you want the users to type their name(s). In the Text Field Properties dialog box, click the Appearance tab, and select a font and color. You have to be sure to make the field as wide as the longest entries if you specify a font size, or leave the Auto setting.
