Manipulating size(s) of CheckBoxes

How do you increase the size(s) of checkboxes using Acrobat Pro 8 or Live Cycle Designer? I don't mean the field which lets you express the name of the variable's. I mean the actual size of the box taking the X, or the checkmark or whatever? For that matter, what about increasing the size of the font used in textboxes? I don't seem to see that capability anywhere...

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

Hi t_venet,

First, you should understand that Acrobat 8 Pro and LiveCycle Designer are two completely separate programs. So if you created your form (with the checkboxes) in LC Designer you must resize them in LC Designer; or put another way, if you open a LC Designer created PDF form in Acrobat you cannot change the checkbox sizes in Acrobat.

If you created in Acrobat 8 and added the checkboxes there, use the Select Object Tool to select all objects on the page, then use the resize tabs along each side of the check box to drag it to the size you want.

If it is a form created in LC Designer, select the checkbox, then in the Object Tab (Window ->Object) change the size in the Size: text box.To change font size in a text box in LC Designer click on the text box to select it, right click and choose Font- you will get a box that lets you make changes to size, font type, and style.

For a text box in an Acrobat created form, use the Select Object tool to select the text box, right click on it and choose Properties- all the font changing capabilties can be found there.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri
