Mass deleting buttons

If I used the duplicate function to duplicate a button to every page of a document, can I mass delete those specific buttons?

Also, I currently create interactive manuals using Adobe Acrobat. Is there perhaps a different program that would be better suited to doing so?

You can multi-select form field in the Form panel, then delete.
