Ok again I've been having a lot more luck now that I have two books to look through but not finding a solution to this problem now.

I've been using Math.min quite successfully but it doesn't seem to work in cases of negative numbers or zero, is there some way to make it recognize them when selecting the minimum?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.3, Windows

Of course it does.
Have a look here: http://w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_min.asp

It is not working in mine though I have 9 variables and it seems to work fine as long as they are 1 or greater but as soon as the value is 0 or a negative it doesn't calculate at all.

Maybe you should post your code or the file you use.

Are you using LiveCycle Designer for your form?

If so, have you tried the 'Min' function?

I found the problem I scoured through all the forms and their scripts and turned out to be a script error on my part.
