Menu commands via script

In Acrobat 7, while I was developing a form, I had a button that used a menu item to open the document level scripts with one click. When the form is released, this button is not included. I tried this technique with Acrobat Pro 8 and DO NOT SEE all the menu commands available. What are my options? Keep developing in Pro 7?

Hi greenmj,

Execution of Menu Items from a document is restricted to a set of "safe" functions in Acrobat 8. Some Menu Items can be added to this "safe" list by making a registry change. Below are two Blog entries here at AcrobatUsers.com that discuss this-
